Performing a query
To query the Metalloprotein Site Database,you need to:
- Select the items you want to search for in each category
- As you select/deselect items the message frame (on the right) will continuously
show your current overall settings.
- Remember that your are doing an "AND" search, i.e.: (METAL=Zn,Cu) AND
(NUMBER OF LIGANDS=4), etc.
Once you have the terms you want to search for and have selected to whether to restrict
the number of hits, you can submit the query.
At this point
the message frame will show your submitted query, and will display the number of
hits (if any) once the search has been completed. You will find the results loaded in the
Macromolecular Model Manager.
