A snapshot of the Macromolecular Manager
Results of queries will appear in the manager, which is used to select the model or models to be displayed in the 3-D viewer window.
The buttons below the tabs can be use to show, hide (remove from the viewer) or delete (remove permantly from the results list), a particular model or a series of them.
To show a model, select the row corresponding to the desired model and press 'show'. Use control-click to select (or deselect) multiple models. Selected models have white "halos" in the 3-D viewer. If a model is selected in the manager, clicking on it again will make the marking "halo" disappear. The same effect can be obtained by selecting a non-shown model.
In the figure above the two panes that compose the Macromolecular Model Manager can be seen. In the foreground we can see the results of a recent query, and the tab in the background (labelled "Cumulative Results") would show the results from previous queries that have not been explicitely deleted.
The headings for the model properties (Name, Metal, etc.), can be used to sort the results by clicking on them. This makes easy to group, for example, sites with the same geometry or sites with the same metal, etc.
