  1. Ribbon representation of Mo­nitrogenase Fe protein dimer structure (PDB code 1NIP). The dimer binds single cubane­like [Fe4S4] cluster, ADP and two Mg2+ ions (cyan), each with four coordinated water molecules. Subunit colour­codes: chain A = blue; chain B = green.
  2. [Fe4S4] cluster and its ligand Cys residues only (orientation as a).
All drawings were produced by using the program MOLSCRIPT [2].
